This place was such a stellar find by my compatriot. We staggered in with a party of 8, and were immediately seated. Ordered a spattering of their apps and mains, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, the whole lot was amazing and everyone was happy with our experience. This quaint little traditional bier hall type joint is tucked away in a quiet part of Columbus's German village, what a great experience with some great friends. Would love to come back if I find myself in Columbus again.

It wasn't bad at all. Standard bar setting that appeared to be fairly well maintained. I had the Rueben sandwich that was really good. If I'm ever back in town in that area I would go back.

I stopped in for a little football watching and pizza for lunch. The bar area was nice. Very clean with many tvs. They just have basic channels so what ever is on regular tv that is what's on. (No Sunday ticket) The gluten free pizza was good and enough for one. I got the Hawaiian, added mushroom and eliminated the cinnamon. The service was fine

Enjoyed a nice Sunday afternoon on the covered patio area with good weather. The Buffalo chicken dip was a little spicy but not too hot. The texture of some of the chicken bits, however, were a bit large and questionable. I picked around it. Chips were on the thicker side, plain, and crunchy. Could have used a few more chip for a more even ratio. Service was good. Not much more to say.

Came here for Trivia last night with my friend and girlfriend. I was told the pizza was worth trying, and it didn't disappoint. Perfect tavern-style pizza. Was around $11. Had a Hefeweizen beer as well. Trivia format was interesting (you wager points based on the question and confidence in your answer). Ambiance is typical of any beer place, I think. We were sitting at the bar and not outside. Would recommend coming here for the pizza.

Plank's Bier Garten is a solid neighborhood staple on High Street. The service is usually very good. On a nice day, when they open up the windows, it's a great place to post up and look outside. The sauerkraut balls are a must order. I don't know how anyone couldn't like them. They're friend deliciousness. The pizza is pretty good. Sandwiches are bomb. They usually have a solid selection of beers on tap. I've never had a bad time there.

Our group had a great experience! Great food, great vibes, and very friendly service. The chicken pesto pizza, Cuban, and Reuben were all amazing! Great food spot in German village.

Stopped by Plank's to watch a game, and found seating at the bar. The service was good and the drinks were cheap. We tried the pizza and it was lowkey delicious. Great crunch to the crust. Didn't experience the bier garten this time, but would definitely come back over the summer to try it out!

Plank's is a fun, small restaurant and bar in German Village. The beer selection is pretty decent with both a good amount of drafts along with cans and bottles for more selection. The food was solid and the bartenders were very friendly. I started with a Boat Show IPA from Yellow Springs brewing and it's always a favorite of mine. I started dinner with a small Caprese salad (pictured). It was a little different from others I've had but very tasty. For my main course I had the small veggie pizza (also pictured) and it was pretty decent. The thin crust was crispy and delicious with lots of fresh toppings. The sauce was a little bland but overall it was pretty good. Overall Plank's is a pretty great place that I'd definitely recommend. And I'd love to go back when it's warm and take advantage of the beautiful patio.
